Good Morning!

Hi, everybody! we've just woken up and gone to the pool right outside our hotel. It's so beautiful here and I definetly love this wonderful city. The heat is survivable, even though it just has to be at least 50 degrees here outside! It's so different than back home where we got snow during the winter and the maximum heat during the summer is about 25-30 degrees. Here it can raise to 60 degrees if you're standing in the sunlight.

DUBAII!!!

We now just arrived at the Dubai International Airport, and as far as we've seen this place is amazing, and that's even before we've been outside. During the landing we saw all the skyscrapers lined up on both sides of the famous Sheik Zayed Road, which is the main road through Dubai and it goes all the way to the capital Abu Dhabi. Actually, we were capable of seeing Burj Khalifa allready 15 minutes before landing, it rose like a huge tower into the sky, being the king of Dubai. It was almost to good to be true, absolutely overwhelming!

The Last Preperations

Okey readers, we're now at Gardemoen in our last magical hour before we take off with a two-stories plane flying towards the first destination Dubai. Non of us have ever been there before, so everything will be absolutely new to us. All the information we got about Dubai is that there are a lot of skyscrapers there and a lot of modern architecture, and I do love that. Burj Khalifa is obvously the world's tallest structure with its 828 meters of altitude. Another building we are excited about is Burj Al-Arab which is the only "7-star" hotel in the world, and since it costs about 100 000 AED per night we are absolutely not going to stay there!!

Well that's enough about Dubai for now, you will get to know a lot more when we get there. I do now want to tell you a bit about ourselves so that you know who we are. well, we are two 16 years old students from Trondheim in Norway. My name is Sondre and my partner is my classmate and friend Einer. We both love travelling and experiencing new cultures and ways of living here on our earth. Therefore we are totally looking forward to explore this with the knowledge we so far have gotten.

In addition to this I love speaking foreign languages, so I have learned Spanis, French and Portuguese through the internet, among some chinese, arabic and also a bit german. Arabic will be a good quality to bring with us on our journey to United Arab Emirates where Arabic is their native and offical language.

Einer though, is a very skilled person when it comes to business competense and other knowlegde than I posses, which makes us able to complement each other in the best way possible.
